This article is devoted to investigating the sociolinguistic factors influencing language learning, with a particular focus on the interplay between social context, identity, and community in shaping language acquisition and usage. It is focused on examining how variables such as age, gender, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, and social networks influence learners’ access to linguistic resources and opportunities. By integrating insights from sociolinguistics, the article highlights the importance of understanding the social dynamics that underpin language learning and the need for educational strategies that consider these factors to foster more inclusive and effective language education.
